Apple Orders Thriller Series from Ben Stiller

Apple has given a series order to Severance, a workplace thriller series from Ben Stiller and starring Adam Scott.

Severance is set at Lumen Industries, a company that’s looking to take work-life balance to a new level, and will center on Mark (Scott), an employee with a dark past trying to put himself back together. Stiller is directing and executive producing the series, which is written and created by Dan Erickson.

Stiller, Nicky Weinstock and Jackie Cohn will executive produce through Red Hour Productions alongside Chris Black, while Scott will serve as producer on the series. Endeavor Content is the studio behind the project.
