AMC Unveils Fear the Walking Dead Snapchat Lens

NEW YORK: AMC Global has partnered with Snapchat to create an exclusive zombie-themed lens based on The Walking Dead companion series Fear the Walking Dead.

The lens will allow fans to transform themselves into zombies within the Snapchat mobile picture messaging app. It will become available to users in the U.S., U.K., Spain, Argentina, Mexico and the Netherlands. This marks the first time a Snapchat lens has been created for a TV series across multiple territories. This is also the first time a television show is being promoted through a Snapchat lens in Argentina, Mexico, Spain and the Netherlands.

The Fear the Walking Dead lens will become available for free on Snapchat for 24 hours from midnight to 11:59 p.m. on August 20 in the U.K., Spain, Argentina, Mexico and the Netherlands, and on August 21 in the U.S. The second half of the show’s sophomore season is due to debut on August 21 at 9 p.m.
