Amazon Prime Video Takes U.K. Rights for New Amsterdam

Amazon Prime Video in the U.K. has secured the rights for the freshman medical drama New Amsterdam in a deal with NBCUniversal International Distribution.

The first 13 episodes will be available to stream as of February 8. New episodes will become available to U.K. Prime members every Wednesday, less than 24 hours after the U.S. broadcast on NBC.

New Amsterdam follows Dr. Max Goodwin, Bellevue Hospital’s newest medical director who sets out to tear up the bureaucracy and provide exceptional care. Ryan Eggold leads the cast.
