Adult Material Scores U.S. Streaming Deal

Banijay Rights has landed a deal with HBO Max for the four-hour drama series Adult Material, originally produced by Fifty Fathoms for Channel 4.

Hayley Squires (Collateral, The Miniaturist) plays leading British pornstar Jolene Dollar in the new drama from Lucy Kirkwood (The Smoke). Adult Material is a story that asks vital and serious questions about sex in the age of the internet, the blurring of fantasy and reality, and economic choices for women.

Matt Creasey, Banijay Rights’ newly appointed executive VP for sales, co-productions and acquisitions for rest of world, said: “We are thrilled Adult Material has been secured for HBO Max.
