New Action Drama Coming to GMA Network

Black Rider, an action hero series starring Ruru Madrid (Lolong), is set to premiere on GMA Network on November 6.

Madrid plays Elias Guerrero, a motorcycle driver for the delivery app Biyahero who embraces another personality as “Black Rider,” a vigilante to fight the syndicate Golden Scorpion.

Matteo Guidicelli, Yassi Pressman, Katrina Halili and Kylie Padilla star alongside Madrid. Guidicelli stars as a courageous police officer who has a bond with Madrid’s character. Pressman plays a petty thief who has a dark past with the Golden Scorpion, and Halili portrays a vigilante who fights alongside Black Rider.

The cast also features Jon Lucas, Zoren Legaspi, Raymart Santiago, Gary Estrada, Raymond Bagatsing, Isko Moreno, Monsour del Rosario, Roi Vinzon, Rio Locsin, Gladys Reyes, Maureen Larrazabal, Almira Muhlach, Empoy Marquez, Janus del Prado and Rainier Castillo. The Golden Scorpion boys are played by Joem Bascon, Dustin Yu, Joaquin Manansala, Kim Perez and Vance Larena.

Guest stars include comedians Empoy Marquez and Jayson Gainza, rapper Shanti Dope, social media stars Pipay and Ashley Rivera, drag queen Turing and Sparkle artists Prince Clemente and Mariel Pamintuan, as well as Ashley Sarmiento and Marco Masa.

Black Rider is helmed by action director Erwin Tagle and master directors Rommel Penesa (Lolong) and Richard Arellano.
