Acorn TV’s April Lineup Includes Dominion Creek Season Two

SILVER SPRING: Among the highlights slated for release on Acorn TV next month is the sophomore season of the hit Irish drama series Dominion Creek.

The second installment of Dominion Creek (a.k.a. An Klondike) was recently nominated for ten Irish Film & TV awards. The new season will focus on the Connolly brothers, who are struggling to forge an empire for themselves during the Gold Rush of the 1890s. It will make its exclusive U.S. premiere on Acorn TV on Monday, April 24.

Also headed to Acorn TV in April is the new BBC Four docuseries The Art Detectives (April 10); the British sitcom Parents (April 17); and the final season ten episodes of Murdoch Mysteries (April 24). In addition, the service will offer the BBC One miniseries The Great Train Robbery, starring Luke Evans and Jim Broadbent; the second season of the Australian dramedy Rake; the British TV movie Trust, led by Mark Strong; and the classic series Pie in the Sky, starring Richard Griffiths, and French Fields, with Julia McKenzie.

Acorn TV is now available for Android through the Google Play Store and Chromecast via its Android and iOS apps.
