Acorn TV Sets Premiere for Sally Lindsay Series

AMC Networks’ streamer Acorn TV is set to debut the new series The Madame Blanc Mysteries, created by and starring U.K. actress Sally Lindsay, on November 15.

Lindsay (Mount Pleasant, Cold Call, Coronation Street) will play renowned antiques dealer Jean White, who finds herself nearly bankrupt after her husband’s sudden death and heads to her last asset, a cottage in France, where she finds a slew of mysteries to solve.

The Madame Blanc Mysteries also stars Steve Edge (Starlings, Phoenix Nights), Sue Vincent (Mount Pleasant, Shameless), Sue Holderness (Only Fools and Horses) and Robin Askwith (Confessions).

Lindsay and Vincent wrote the script, with Dermot Boyd (Mount Pleasant) directing. Executive producers are Lindsay, Mike Benson for Clapperboard, Caroline Roberts-Cherry for Saffron Cherry Productions and Catherine Mackin for Acorn TV.

The series will premiere exclusively on Acorn TV in North America, the Netherlands, South Africa, Denmark, Norway and Sweden on November 15.
