The Brokenwood Mysteries returns to Acorn TV on December 5. The New Zealand detective series will enter its third season. The Level, an Acorn TV original series, debuts on December 12. The season-four finale of the Aussie period drama A Place to Call Home is set for December 25. The following day will see the season finale of the post-WWII drama Close to the Enemy, also an Acorn TV original.

President of Acorn Brands at RLJ Entertainment, Mark Stevens, said, “After the exciting premieres of our first two Acorn TV originals, Agatha Raisin and Close to the Enemy, we’re excited to add a new thriller to our slate with The Level, which features a nail-biter of a script and a superb ensemble cast. Additionally, we’re delighted that our subscribers have embraced quirky New Zealand detective drama The Brokenwood Mysteries, and we’ll feature four brand new feature-length episodes, including a Christmas episode premiering on December 25. Acorn TV will also add the season finales of two of our newest addictive shows, Close to the Enemy and A Place to Call Home.”
