Red Arrow Studios International has picked up the international TV distribution rights for Let Me Go, a drama inspired by Helga Schneider’s best-selling memoir.

Let Me Go is about mothers and daughters and how the sins of the past can return to hurt the ones we love the most. Lizzie Pickering produced the drama for In Trust Films alongside David Broder.

George Tsitos, Jonny Boston, Rupert Labrum and Mark Hopkins served as executive producers. Philip Selway (Radiohead’s drummer) wrote the original score. It stars Juliet Stevenson CBE (Truly, Madly, Deeply), Jodhi May (The Last of the Mohicans), Lucy Boynton (Murder on the Orient Express, Bohemian Rhapsody) and Karin Bertling (Wallander, The Bridge).

Alex Fraser, senior VP of acquisitions at Red Arrow Studios International, said: “We’re delighted to add Let Me Go to our growing slate of scripted content and build upon the fantastic reception the title has enjoyed so far. This absorbing, female-led drama offers a unique perspective on the Second World War and we look forward to introducing new audiences to this thought-provoking true life story.”

Director Polly Steel and Producer Lizzie Pickering from In Trust Films added: “We are thrilled that Red Arrow has acquired Let Me Go for worldwide distribution, we’re confident that they are the right partners for our film and we look forward to working with them to bring it to international audiences.”
