Night Manager Producer Lands $180 Million in Funding

The Ink Factory, which produced and financed the critically acclaimed BBC/AMC co-pro The Night Manager, adapted from a John le Carré novel, has received $180 million in funding that will be deployed to expand its global reach and boost its development and production slates.

The funding comes in part from its second round of financing, which includes all the first-round investors. Hong Kong and London-based 127 Wall Productions has joined the second round of financing and provided a co-investment facility for all of the company’s film and television productions. Natixis Coficiné, the senior loan provider on The Night Manager, leads a senior debt arrangement for The Ink Factory, providing cash flow for productions.

The first project to be financed by the new arrangements is Hotel Artemis, a feature film currently in post-production in the U.S. that will be released next year. The financing will also be used towards the adaptation of The Little Drummer Girl, starring Florence Pugh.
