Ransom Renewed for Season Two

The drama series Ransom has been renewed for a second season, which will air on CBS in the U.S. and Global in Canada.

The upcoming 13 episodes will be filmed in Hungary for broadcast next year. Luke Roberts stars in Ransom as expert hostage negotiator Eric Beaumont, whose team is brought in to save lives when no one else can. Sarah Greene, Brandon Jay McLaren and Nazneen Contractor also star.

Ransom is inspired by the professional experiences of crisis negotiator Laurent Combalbert, who, along with partner Marwan Mery, are among the top negotiators in the world.

Entertainment One is the producer and holds worldwide rights to the series.
