Filipino Drama Until We Meet Again Enters LatAm

GMA’s original drama Until We Meet Again (Cautiva) has debuted in Peru on Panamericana Television.

Until We Meet Again tells the story of Angela, who was kidnapped and held captive for 18 years. The show premiered in a 4:30 p.m. time slot, but has since moved into prime time, airing at 7 p.m.

The deal with Panamericana Television was secured by Latin Media Corporation, GMA Worldwide’s partner in Latin America. Jose Escalante, the CEO of Latin Media Corp., commented: “Peru is the first territory in the region to successfully transmit this drama that has all the elements of a real hit.”

He added, “Not only do they have actors very similar to us, Latinos, but they have original stories that leave a mark on the audience.”
