MTG Studios & Red Arrow International Team for Political Thriller

STOCKHOLM/MUNICH: MTG Studios and Red Arrow International have partnered to co-finance and co-produce the new drama series Embassy Down.

The 8×1-hour series is set in current-day Copenhagen. When terrorists storm the opening party at the new United States embassy and take guests hostage, a dramatic chain of events is triggered that plays out across the Danish capital with repercussions around the world.

The thriller was created and written by Danish screenwriter Anders Frithiof August (The Legacy, Follow the Money). The producers are René Ezra and Tomas Radoor at Nordisk Film (A War, A Hijacking, Key House Mirror), while executive producers include Henrik Bastin (Bosch, American Odyssey) and Mikkel Bondesen (Truth, The Killing, Burn Notice).

Embassy Down will premiere in the Nordics in 2018 on MTG’s video streaming service Viaplay and will be distributed worldwide by Red Arrow International.
