New Star Trek Details Unveiled

SAN DIEGO: Bryan Fuller revealed new details about the upcoming Star Trek series at Comic-Con International this weekend, including providing a first look at the new Starfleet ship, U.S.S. Discovery.

Star Trek: Discovery is set to debut on CBS All Access in 2017 following a premiere on the CBS television network. Fuller serves as exec producer of the latest TV iteration in the beloved franchise.

Fuller took part in the Star Trek 50th Anniversary panel at Comic-Con International alongside stars from previous series, including William Shatner, Brent Spiner, Michael Dorn, Jeri Ryan and Scott Bakula.

CBS Studios International last week announced a global streaming deal with Netflix for the show, as well as a pact with Bell Media in Canada.
