CraveTV Picks Up Five New U.S. Fall Dramas

TORONTO: CraveTV has locked in deals with a number of Hollywood studios to bring new U.S. dramas such as Designated Survivor and Time After Time to the streaming service in Canada.

CraveTV licensed the rights for five buzz-generating U.S. dramas, including two shows from Entertainment One: Designated Survivor, starring Kiefer Sutherland, and the legal drama Conviction. From Warner Bros. comes Training Day, a reimagining of the movie of the same name, and Time After Time, a love story laced with themes of danger, adventure and time travel. CraveTV did a deal with Sony for Notorious, which spotlights the interplays of criminal law and the media.

All five series will become available to CraveTV subscribers exclusively starting in fall 2017, following the series’ first-window seasons on CTV.
