Revenge Thriller Malice Coming to Prime Video in November

The six-part revenge thriller Malice, starring David Duchovny (The X Files), Carice van Houten (Game of Thrones) and Jack Whitehall (Jungle Cruise), is slated to bow on Prime Video on November 14.

Created by James Wood (Rev), the series is directed by Mike Barker (Fargo, The Handmaid’s Tale) and Leonora Lonsdale (Dangerous Liaisons, The Pale Horse). It is co-produced by Expectation and Tailspin Films.

Whitehall stars as Adam, a charismatic tutor who charms his way into the life of the wealthy Tanner family while they’re on holiday in Greece. When the family’s nanny falls ill, Adam orchestrates his way into their London home, where he starts to turn Jamie and Nat against each other and plots to bring down the entire family.

“This role is unlike anything I’ve ever done before,” Whitehall said. “Moving from comedy to playing a character so deliciously dark and complex was exhilarating. Adam is the kind of character who makes you question everything—he’s charming and funny one moment and absolutely chilling the next. What I love about Malice is how it constantly keeps you guessing—just when you think you know who’s right and who’s wrong, everything shifts and you’re left questioning everyone’s motives.”
