Spotlight: Zone3’s Drifting

Commissioned by Bell Media’s Crave, Drifting is an eight-part psychological thriller being rolled out by Zone3 International.

From creator Julie Hivon and director Patrice Sauvé, Drifting is set against the backdrop of classical music and neuropsychology, exploring themes of identity, buried trauma, family dynamics and more, with a cast led by Jean-Philippe Perras.

Internationally renowned pianist Daniel Major finds himself unable to play after collapsing on stage. To escape the turmoil, Daniel retreats to his family’s country house. Deeply shaken, he is once again plagued by night terrors that make him fear for his own safety and that of his loved ones. Seeking help, he begins a trauma-focused psychotherapy that forces him to confront his past, only to uncover deeply disturbing secrets. His quest for the truth—fraught with obstacles and danger—leads to the most unsettling revelations.
