Netflix Reveals Full Pride and Prejudice Cast

Netflix has unveiled the final cast lineup for its six-episode adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, which is now in production in the U.K.

As previously announced, Emma Corrin (Nosferatu) stars as Elizabeth Bennet, Jack Lowden (Gangs of London) plays Mr. Darcy and Olivia Colman (The Favourite) stars as Mrs. Bennet. Joining them are Freya Mavor (Industry), Rhea Norwood (Heartstopper), Hopey Parish and Hollie Avery as the other Bennet sisters and Rufus Sewell (The Diplomat) as Mr. Bennet.

Other cast members include Jamie Demetriou (Stath Lets Flats), Daryl McCormack (Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery), Louis Partridge (House of Guinness), Siena Kelly (Black Mirror), Fiona Shaw (Killing Eve), Anjana Vasan (We Are Lady Parts), Sebastian Armesto (Gangs of London), Rosie Cavaliero (KAOS), Saffron Coomber (Three Little Birds), James Dryden (Deadpool), Justin Edwards (The Thick Of It), James Northcote (The Last Kingdom), Eloise Webb (The Queen’s Gambit) and Isabella Sermon (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom).

The series adaptation is written by Dolly Alderton (Everything I Know About Love) and directed by Euros Lyn (Heartstopper). It is said to be a faithful, classic adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel.

“Once in a generation, a group of people get to retell this wonderful story, and I feel very lucky that I get to be a part of it,” Alderton said earlier this year. “Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice is the blueprint for romantic comedy—it has been a joy to delve back into its pages to find both familiar and fresh ways of bringing this beloved book to life. With Euros Lyn directing our stellar cast, I am so excited to reintroduce these hilarious and complicated characters to those who count Pride and Prejudice as their favorite book and those who are yet to meet their Lizzie and Mr. Darcy.”
