Sight Unseen Returning on CTV in January

CTV has slated the season two premiere of Sight Unseen, from Blink49 Studios and Front Street Pictures, for January 20.

In season two, Tess Avery and Sunny Patel juggle new cases, their unorthodox partnership and challenges in their personal lives, including a troubling new symptom of Tess’s sight loss. The series is inspired by co-creator Karen Troubetzkoy’s recurring experiences with sight loss and her relationship with her sister and co-creator, Nikolijne Troubetzkoy.

The series is led by Dolly Lewis and Agam Darshi, as well as Daniel Gillies and Alice Christina-Corrigan. Guest appearances in the second season include Sara Canning (The Vampire Diaries), Katharine Isabelle (Hannibal), Michelle Morgan (Heartland), Niall Matter (The Predator), Sophia McDowell (Return to Sender), Zak Santiago (Nobody Dumps My Daughter) and Matty Finochio (Woman of the Hour).

Sight Unseen is produced by Blink49 Studios, a Fifth Season-backed company, and Front Street Pictures, in association with Sisters Troubetzkoy Productions, CTV and the participation of the Canada Media Fund, the Bell Fund and the Rogers Series Fund, in addition to provincial and federal tax credits.

Stefan Pleszczynski (Transplant) directs several episodes and serves as an executive producer alongside co-showrunners Karen Troubetzkoy and Nikolijne Troubetzkoy, as well as Blink49’s John Morayniss, Carolyn Newman and Virginia Rankin; Front Street Pictures’ Charles Cooper; Bell Media’s Justin Stockman; and writers Brendan Gall, Shelley Eriksen and Derek Schreyer. John Fawcett (Orphan Black) returns to direct the season finale.
