Video Interview: Secrets’ Kaspar Munk

From five-time Danish Film Award-winning director and co-writer Kaspar Munk (Ride Upon the StormYou & Me Forever), the contemporary Danish drama Secrets follows a pair of adult siblings and their struggle to learn to set boundaries and free themselves from old patterns. The cast is led by award-winning actor and two-time SAG ensemble nominee Pilou Asbæk (Game of ThronesUnchartedAquaman and the Lost KingdomBorgen) and Kristallen best actress winner Evin Ahmad (Who Is Erin Carter?Snabba CashThe Restaurant).

The series is inspired by Munk’s own real-life events, covering themes of family relationships, abuse and co-dependency. All eight half-hour episodes have been released for the first time in the U.S. on the Viaplay streaming service, subtitled in English, and were immediately available to binge. Viaplay Content Distribution is also selling Secrets internationally.
