Viddsee Expanding Scripted Footprint

Viddsee has partnered with CJ ENM, among other companies, to expand its offering into long-form scripted projects and microdramas.

With the move, the digital video platform, known for its short-form content, plans to extend its reach beyond Southeast Asia and onto the global stage. Leading the evolution is the detective series Ivy Boys, in co-development with CJ ENM Hong Kong and adapted from the Web3 concepts of BBRC Studios.

Another key project, Fallen Butterflies (w.t.), is inspired by the book published by Penguin, A Long Road to Justice by Sylvia Yu Friedman. The eight-episode drama series explores the world of the sex trafficking trade through a Korean and American lens.

Also in the lineup is Siti Vampire, an Indonesian feature film adapted from a successful local five-episode comedy series with the same name in Singapore. Story and script development is currently underway with Katatinut.

Beyond these projects, Viddsee is producing its first slate of microdrama originals, with productions underway in Thailand, Singapore and Taipei.
