Inter Medya & TV Pasiones Strike Licensing Deal

Inter Medya has licensed three series from its catalog to TV Pasiones for broadcast in the U.S.

Scorpion, a series included in the slate, follows Perihan Emgen, her daughter, her grandchildren and her barely tolerable son-in-law Fikret. When a death changes the family forever, drama ensues.

Last Summer, which sees prosecutor Selim Kara receive an offer too good to refuse from the mob leader he put in prison eight years ago, and The Light of Hope, which tells the story of a family torn into pieces, are also included in the deal.

“Turkish content is reaching a wider audience, becoming accessible to everyone,” said Beatriz Cea Okan, VP and head of sales and acquisitions for Inter Medya. “We are very pleased that our titles are being broadcast on TV Pasiones and watched by their viewers. We are confident that Last Summer, Scorpion and The Light of Hope will find a dedicated following in the United States, just as they have across the globe.”
