Korean Office Drama Race to Debut on Disney+

In early 2023, Race, a Korean office drama that centers on a young diversity hire, is set to premiere exclusively on Disney+.

When Park Yoonjo, played by Lee Yeon Hee (New Year Blues, Welcome to Wedding Hell), discovers that she was only hired for diversity reasons at the firm where her best friend works, she does whatever it takes to prove that she belongs in her role.

Determined to succeed, Yoonjo seeks out help from the firm’s pride and joy—Koo Yijung, a PR star—in the hopes of learning from the very best.

In addition to Hee, the cast includes Hong Jonghyun (Moon Lovers), Moon Sori (The Handmaiden, Seoul Vibe) and Chung Yunho (Dating On Earth). Race is written by Kim Roori (Hyena, The Ace) and directed by Lee Dongyoon (She Would Never Know, 20th Century Boy and Girl).

Race is part of Disney’s expanded slate of local AsiaPac content, which includes other upcoming titles Soundtrack #2, Call It Love, Shadow Detective season two, BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star and more.
