Jodie Foster Starring in New True Detective Installment

HBO has given a series order to True Detective: Night Country, which Jodie Foster will both star in and executive produce.

Set in Alaska, the latest True Detective installment tells the story of the disappearance of six men who operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station. Detectives Liz Danvers (Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Kali Reis) will try to uncover the truth while confronting their own darkness.

True Detective: Night Country is from showrunner, writer, director and executive producer Issa López. Barry Jenkins, Adele Romanski, Mark Ceryak are executive producers through PASTEL. Alan Page Arriaga is a writer/executive producer. Anonymous Content, Mari Jo Winkler, Matthew McConaughey, Woody Harrelson, Cary Joji Fukunaga and Nic Pizzolatto also executive produce.
