Electric Entertainment Makes New Deals for Almost Paradise

Electric Entertainment has signed licensing deals with Sony Pictures Television in German-speaking Europe and Now TV in Hong Kong for Almost Paradise.

The crime series will air on Sony Pictures Television’s AXN in German-speaking Europe and will begin streaming in Hong Kong on Now TV’s SVOD service Now Studio in early 2022. These new deals come after Almost Paradise was licensed in France, Poland, Africa, Romania and the Balkans.

Originally launched in the U.S. on WGN America in 2020, Almost Paradise follows a retired U.S. DEA agent who tries to begin a tranquil new life on a small island in the Philippines but is pulled back into the world of danger.

The show has also had successful launches in Spain, Ukraine, Latin America and MEA.
