New Netflix Korean Original in the Works

School Nurse Ahn Eun Young (working title), a new Korean original series for Netflix, is heading into production next year.

The series is based on a popular Korean novel of the same name by Jung Se-rang. The show follows the story of a newly appointed high school nurse who discovers secrets and mysteries with her supernatural ability to chase ghosts. Jung Yu-mi (Train to Busan, Live, Discovery of Love) will star in the lead role of Ahn Eun Young.

The six-part Korean original series will be produced by Oh! Boy Project, known for its success with Flower Boy Ramen Shop and Hwarang. Park Sung-hye and Shin Yeon-ju will be executive producers of the series. Kim Hyun-jeong is also attached as executive producer. Se-rang serves as writer. It will be directed by Lee Kyoung-mi (The Truth Beneath, Crush and Blush).
