FOX Networks Group Asia to Rep The Legend of Hao Lan

FOX Networks Group Asia has picked up the worldwide rights, outside of China, for the period drama series The Legend of Hao Lan from Huanyu Film.

The Legend of Hao Lan follows on the success of Huanyu’s The Story of Yanxi Palace. The show tells the story of three main characters as they unite to overcome their rivals states’ battles for power and land. It is being directed by Dachao Li, with the screenplay by Er Di.

The Legend of Hao Lan features the same key cast as Yanxi Palace, including Jing Ning and Zhifei Wang. FOX Networks Group Asia has the exclusive rights to air and distribute The Legend of Hao Lan in global markets excluding China. The series will debut for Chinese and worldwide audiences next year on SCC and FOX+ in select territories.
