TV Latina Unveils Full Roster for Turkish TV Festival

TV Latina’s inaugural Turkish TV Festival, taking place May 7 to 9, has revealed the complete list of executives taking part in the Spanish- and English-language online event, including Özge Özpirinçci, star of I Am Mother, and Melih Özkaya, star of Alaca. I Am Mother, distributed by Eccho Rights, premiered last December on Show TV in Turkey. It tells the story of a mother of three who carries the pain of her mother throughout her life and starts anew in a bustling city after enduring a life-changing trauma. The series is produced by O3 Medya.

Alaca, the first original production of MediaHub, is the story of a young woman who gets her kidney stolen in a brutal kidnapping when her biological father needs a donor for his dying daughter. Özkaya portrays Alaca’s love interest, Kenan.

The full roster of executives taking part in the Turkish TV Festival features Erdem Seçkin, CEO at OGM Pictures; Ateş İnce, managing director at Madd Entertainment; Beatriz Cea Okan, VP and director of sales and acquisitions at Inter Medya; Sibel Levendoğlu, sales manager for Latin America and North America at Kanal D International; Handan Özkubat, director for Turkish drama at Eccho Rights; Müge Akar, sales director at atv; Iván Sánchez, sales director for Latin America at Global Agency; Aysegul Tuzun, managing director at MISTCO; Duda Rodrigues, sales manager for Latin America at Calinos Entertainment; and Emrah Turna, founder and CEO of MediaHub.

The upcoming Turkish TV Festival in Spanish and English will feature keynotes with leading producers and distributors in the Turkish television space. It will be streamed live and available on-demand at www.FestivalTurco.com and www.TurkishTVFestival.com.

The Turkish TV Festival joins previously held events, including the TV Latina Festival, Festival de producción, as well as the Festival de streaming and Festival FAST.
