TV Latina Reorganizes Editorial Team

NEW YORK: Continuing its growth strategy for this year, TV Latina, World Screen‘s market-leading Latin American media industry publication, has promoted Rafael Blanco to executive editor.

Blanco contributes to all of World Screen‘s Spanish-language print publications—with the flagship TV Latina, plus TV Niños and TV Formatos—as well as the online newsletters Diario TV Latina, TV Latina Semanal and TV Niños Semanal, and our annual Latin American Cable & Satellite Guide and Latin American Distributors Guide.

Blanco is a Queens, New York, native but lived in Colombia for more than ten years, where he graduated with honors, earning a BA in Journalism from La Universidad Autónoma del Caribe. He also worked for the Colombian political weekly El Extra. In 2001, he returned to New York and attained his Master’s Degree in Creative Writing from the City University of New York.

Blanco continues to report directly to Elizabeth Bowen-Tombari, the editor of TV Latina.
