TV Azteca Takes BBC Worldwide Titles

MIAMI: BBC Worldwide has clinched a deal with Mexican terrestrial broadcaster TV Azteca covering a host of natural history and science titles, including David Attenborough’s Life in Cold Blood.

Other titles covered under the agreement, which was announced at NATPE, include Walking With Dinosaurs, Walking With Monsters, Planet Earth and Incredible Journeys with Steve Leonard.

“The Latin American market is very enthusiastic about natural history and science programs, and BBC Worldwide’s catalogue is packed with some of the best programming ever created in these genres," said Matt Forde, executive VP of sales and co-productions for BBC Worldwide Americas. "TV Azteca continues to be a fantastic broadcast partner for us, and I know Mexican audiences will enjoy this line-up of exciting programs.”
