Turner Broadcasting EMEA Taps New Head of Distribution

LONDON: Turner Broadcasting has appointed Humphrey Black to the newly created role of VP of media distribution for EMEA.

Black joins Turner from The Walt Disney Company, where he was director of channel distribution for EMEA. He will report to Giorgio Stock, the president of Turner Broadcasting EMEA, and will be based in London. Black is charged with leading distribution relationships and negotiations with broadcasters, cable operators and wireless and interactive services providers. His remit also sees him evaluating the impact of new technologies and distribution partners on the business across the EMEA region.
