truTV Orders More All Worked Up & New Spinoff Series

ATLANTA: A third season of the original series All Worked Up has been ordered by truTV, which has also greenlit a spinoff, Lizard Lick Towing.

A further 13 episodes are on order for All Worked Up, which features first-person stories of a recurring cast of workers who must calm down people on a daily basis. Stars Ron and Amy Shirley, as well as Bobby Brantley, return for the third season. The series first premiered in October 2009 and returned for is second run this past summer.

truTV has also ordered six episodes of Lizard Lick Towing, which follows a North Carolina repossessing and towing company that was featured in the first season of All Worked Up.

Both series are slated for 2011 debuts. Both also come from Zodiak USA.

"All Worked Up has been a tremendous success for truTV. It introduced viewers to some extremely fascinating people working very difficult jobs," said Marc Juris, the executive VP and general manager of truTV and In Session. "Those folks include Ron and Amy Shirley, whose adventures in the repo world will be at the center of our new series Lizard Lick Towing. We are very excited to see what these two great series have in store."
