Toei Animated Series Available Online

LOS ANGELES, July 18: Toei Animation’s two most popular animated series—Digimon Adventure 02 and Pretty Cure—will be available for download on IGN.com’s Direct2Drive section starting this month.

The second season of Digimon Adventure 02 follows the adventures of Daisuke Motomiya and his friends as they battle evil Digimon Kaiser, who wants to dominate Digital World. The powers of Digimon Kaiser prevent other Digimon from Digivolving.

Pretty Cure features Nagisa and Honoka, eighth graders at Verona Junior High School for girls. The pair encounter Mepple and Mipple, two mysterious creatures who have fled their homeland to escape an attack by the evil forces of Dotsuku Zone. The creatures grant the two girls the power to transform into superheroes.

Slam Dunk and Fist of the North Star were the first titles to premiere online last month. Other animated titles from Toei’s catalogues will roll out later this year.
