ATLANTA: TNT has ordered ten episodes of Franklin & Bash, which it is billing as a "buddy lawyer series," starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer.

Produced by Four Sycamore Productions, Left Coast Productions and FanFare Productions in association Sony Pictures Television, the show is a "hugely entertaining, smart and funny take on the legal procedural,” according to Michael Wright, executive VP and head of programming for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). “After viewing the outstanding pilot, we realized that its emphasis on quirky, likeable characters and solid procedural structure make it an ideal addition to our current line-up of series on TNT. As an odd-couple pair of lawyers, Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer play off each other extremely well. With the outstanding cast around them, plus Kevin Falls and Bill Chais’ great words, we’re very excited about bringing this series to TNT.”

In the show, two young street lawyers join a legendary, button-down law firm. This is the latest in a string of TNT original dramas, which include The Closer, HawthoRNe, Men of a Certain Age, Leverage and upcoming Rizzoli & Isles.
