LONDON, July 11: Tiger Aspect Productions has announced two
new appointments to its factual programming division, and has named a new
executive producer in its drama department.
Ricky Kelehar has been appointed director of factual
entertainment and Gary Chippington will serve as director of presenter-led
programming. Kelehar comes to Tiger Aspect with more than a decade of
experience in factual programming. Most recently he served as the editor of
factual entertainment at the BBC. As an executive producer for the BBC, he
worked on shows including Honey, We’re Killing the Kid and Britain’s Best Sitcom.
Prior to joining Tiger Aspect, Chippington spent two years
with Endemol UK as executive producer for comedy and entertainment. Rush
Hour and You Can’t Fire Me, I’m
Famous are some shows that bare
Chippington’s mark as a producer.
In related news, Richard Fell has been named as executive
producer for the company’s drama department. Fell arrives at Tiger Aspect from
BBC Drama, where he was an executive producer. He worked on such programs as Miss
Marie Lloyd: Queen of Music Hall, 20
Thousand Streets Under the Sky and
Alan Clark Diaries.
