Third Season of Come Dine With Me Commissioned in Australia

SYDNEY: The LifeStyle Channel has commissioned a third season of Come Dine With Me Australia, ahead of the second-season premiere.

The third installment of 20 half-hours will again be produced by Granada Media Australia for the XYZnetworks-owned channel. The second season of the show kicks off August 23 at 8 p.m. The third run will debut in early 2011.

“Come Dine with Me Australia is such a winning format. The series is a fantastic reflection of Australian society, taking viewers into everyday Aussie homes,” said Nicole Sheffield, the general manager of the LifeStyle Channels. “Our viewers identify with the people in the series and love the sense of fun it brings to the channel. Fans of the show can’t get enough of this series and we’re thrilled to be commissioning a third series.”
