The Wonder Pets! Bollywood Special to Air on Nickelodeon

NEW YORK, August 19: A
special Bollywood-themed episode of The Wonder Pets! about saving a Bengal tiger will premiere next
month on Nickelodeon, with sneak peeks available leading up to the launch.

Save the Bengal Tiger!, which will air at 8 p.m. on September 8, will
feature Indian actress Nandita Das as the voice of the Bengal Tiger and sibling
duo Salim and Sulaiman Merchant as composers of the musical score. In the
special, the Wonder Pets get a call from a young white Bengal tiger in India
who has thorn in her foot. After Linny, Tuck and Ming-Ming realize their hands
are too big to pull out the thorn, they enlist the help of famous mouse, Raji,
the Puller of Thorns.

On September 9, Nick Jr.
will release a new DVD titled The Wonder Pets!: Save The Bengal Tiger, created by Nickelodeon Home Entertainment and
distributed by Paramount Home Entertainment. The DVD will include the
double-length title episode in addition to two extra adventures from the
series, a music video for I Like Being Small and a Teamwork Tips! photo gallery.

Additionally, Nick Jr.
will rollout content from the special on Comcast’s VOD service, which will
feature an exclusive advance screening on August 25. The special, shorts, song
clips and additional Wonder Pets!
episodes will be available via VOD on Time Warner Cable, Charter, Cablevision,
Verizon FiOS and Cox on September 8.

Beginning September 1, a
two-minute sneak peek of the special will be available on wireless carriers and
through Nick Jr. Video, the channel’s broadband video service on its website.
Nick Jr. Video also will stream song clips from the program and themed episodes
from the series. The Wonder Pets!
season two will be available on iTunes in early September.
