Televisa Showcasing Range of Formats

MEXICO CITY: Terminals leads off Televisa Internacional’s slate for the upcoming MIPTV market, with other formats on offer such as The Show of Dreams.

The 13×1-hour Terminals features a young journalist whose life changes when she is diagnosed with an advanced case of leukemia. Among the entertainment formats on offer are The Show of Dreams, Hit the Bottom and Clippers. The Show of Dreams is based on a singing and dancing competition where groups are composed of a family member and a celebrity, then friends and a celebrity in the second phase. The winner will receive one million dollars. Hit the Bottom is a contest that challenges players to answer video questions correctly as they are submitted to all kids of pranks. In Clippers, contestants must produce videos of varying topics that will compete on the web. The producer of the video with the most votes will have the opportunity to compete against professional producers in a studio.

Televisa is also presenting the talk-show format Tercer Grado. The 13×1-hour series features a conductor and panel of guests giving their opintions and onducting analysis and debate of issues affecting the world today.
