Telemundo Delivering Strong Viewership Gains

MIAMI: Throughout the first six weeks of the second quarter of this year, Telemundo was the fastest-growing broadcast network with the largest percentage gain in viewers among adults 18 to 49 and 18 to 34, according to Nielsen Media Research.

Telemundo reported a 37-percent growth among adults 18 to 49 as compared to the first quarter of this year, which translates to a viewership of 931,000 versus 679,000. The network is also up 39 percent with those 18 to 34.

In Q2, Telemundo’s Caso Cerrado is averaging 581,000 adults aged 18 to 49 and 249,000 adults 18 to 34. Meanwhile, the hit La Reina Del Sur is averaging more than 2.1 million viewers among adults 18 to 49 and more than 1.2 million for adults 18 to 34.
