KidsCo Launches Online Store

LONDON, July 2: KidsCo has
launched an online store, featuring branded- and third-party products for
children and families.

The new e-commerce store
offers the opportunity for partners to extend their product reach online, and
is a key component of KidsCo’s broader web strategy. The store will be
available in local languages in territories where the channel has a presence
and can be found at www.kidscotv.tv.

KidsCo is a joint-venture
channel owned by NBC Universal, DIC Entertainment and Corus Entertainment. The
online store was built and will be operated by Internet TV Productions.

Paul Robinson, the
managing director of KidsCo, said: “As consumers become ever more
sophisticated, we are finding that the online environment is proving to be a
popular destination of choice amongst viewers, as evidenced by the positive
flow of traffic to the KidsCo website. We have exciting plans for KidsCo online
and the launch of our e-commerce facility is part of a broader web strategy for
KidsCo going forward.”
