TBS & TNT Slate 2010-11 Programming

NEW YORK: TNT and TBS held a joint presentation to unveil the new programming headed to the channels for 2010-11, with TNT announcing the debut of the new Steven Spielberg series Fallen Skies and TBS readying for the launch of Conan O’Brien’s late-night show.

This summer, TNT will air seven new or returning originals: The Closer, Saving Grace, Dark Blue, Leverage, Memphis Beat, Rizzoli & Isles and Hawthorne. The hit Men of a Certain Age returns later this year. For 2011, TNT has slated the launch of Fallen Skies, starring Noah Wyle, and the return of Southland. The channel greenlit the new lawyer series Franklin & Bash, starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer, from Sony Pictures Television.

Development plans for TNT include an untitled medical show from Lionsgate Television and Don Cheadle’s Crescendo Productions; Graysmith, from Scott Free Productions and executive producers Ridley Scott and Tony Scott; and Green Detective, from Steven Bochco and Jonathan Abrahams. Also on the development roster are Brain Trust, Miss Philly from executive producer/writer Jamie Foxx, and Dear God, executive produced by Mark Gordon, Mark Burnett, Roma Downey and Deborah Spera.

TBS, meanwhile, is expanding its programming lineup for the upcoming season. Conan O’Brien’s new late-night show is set for a debut on November 8, to be followed by Lopez Tonight. TBS’s schedule will also feature the original series My Boys, Are We There Yet? and the new animated series Neighbors From Hell. TBS also took on the exclusive cable rights to the CBS series The Big Bang Theory starting fall 2011. The network gave the go-ahead to the original series Glory Daze (working title), a comedy set in the 1980s, from Warner Horizon Television. Hour-long series in development for TBS include The Wedding Band from FremantleMedia, The Rabbit Factory and The Catch. Animated series in development are Good and Evel and The Black Family.
