BBC Group and YouTube have entered a new strategic partnership focused on investments in new programming, collaborating to showcase more BBC moments on YouTube and launching creator skills and training programs.

There are about 100 more buyers in Cannes this MIPCOM than last year, RX France's Lucy Smith told reporters at a wrap press conference, with that number ticking up to 3,340 out of a total of about 10,600 delegates.

Marking its 20th anniversary this year, YouTube is set to have a significant presence at this October's MIPCOM, including a branded space in the Palais and a keynote from Pedro Pina, VP for EMEA.
