Disney captured the largest month-over-month gain in Nielsen’s January 2026 Media Distributor Gauge, adding 1.2 share points and finishing with 11.9 percent of total TV viewing.

According to Nielsen’s latest The Gauge report, TV viewing rose to a 12-month high in January, with overall viewing up 3.7 percent over December, fueled by a 9 percent monthly increase in cable viewership.

An estimated 124.9 million viewers watched Super Bowl LX on February 8, according to Nielsen’s Big Data + Panel measurement, with NBC’s presentation ranking as the second most-watched Super Bowl in history.
