The Chernin Group (TCG) has taken a minority stake in Goalhanger, which will draw on TCG’s expertise in creator-led and fandom-driven media businesses to expand shows such as The Rest Is History and The Rest Is Football into new formats.

Goalhanger has appointed Andy Hodgson as chief financial officer, Chloe Straw as director of operations and Emily Kent Smith as editorial director.
