T-Online Hungary Secures Online VOD Rights to Warner Bros. Films

REM, March 30: In a
multi-year agreement, T-Online Hungary has secured the online
video-on-demand rights to a number of classic and recent Warner Bros. films for
distribution in Hungary, including the Oscar-winning The Departed, beginning in
April.

Under the deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution
(WBITD), subscribers to T-Home TV, the first commercial IPTV service in
Hungary, and T-Online Téka will have
access via set-top box or PC to a slate of current motion pictures distributed to
the international TV marketplace by WBITD, as well as a number of classic
titles from the Warner Bros. Entertainment library. Award-winning Hungarian productions, as well as
documentaries, animated series and features are already available on T-Home TV and T-Online Téka.

The titles licensed under terms of the agreement include recent releases
such as Blood Diamond, The Prestige, Happy Feet and the
Oscar-winning The Departed, all set to
premiere in 2007. Additional pictures from the Warner Bros. library that will
become available during 2007 on T-Home
TV and T-Online Téka include the Lord
of the Rings
and Matrix trilogies, plus various Harry Potter titles.

T-Online Hungary is the
leading ISP in Hungary, providing Internet access to almost half of the country’s
residential Internet users.
