LONDON: ALL3MEDIA International has sold more than 50 hours of programming across multiple genres for broadcast on Sweden’s SVT.

The deal includes SVT renewing Midsomer Murders. The 14th installment of the hit detective show will debut later this year with a new inspector at the helm (when Neil Dudgeon takes over from John Nettles).

From the factual and factual-entertainment slate, Fake or Fortune follows Fiona Bruce and Philip Mould as they investigate remarkable stories from the art world. The second season of Undercover Boss USA is also in the deal, along with Undercover Princes and Undercover Princesses.

Liza Thompson, the VP of international sales at ALL3MEDIA International, commented, “We are delighted to conclude this acquisition from SVT, in a deal which showcases some of the leading drama, factual and factual entertainment titles in our current programming catalogue. We are certainly looking forward to introducing Neil as the new Inspector Barnaby to Swedish fans and press later this year and are confident that all the titles signed here will prove very popular.”

Stephen Mowbray, the head of program acquisitions at SVT, added, “We are very pleased to secure this fantastic range of titles. A must-have for SVT, Midsomer Murders has consistently proved to be our top rating imported show.
