SVT to Air Doc About Japan’s Earthquake & Tsunami

STOCKHOLM: Collaboration Inc. and TV Tokyo have aligned for the fast-turnaround doc SOS Japan: Voices from the Destruction, which has already been picked up from Sparks Network by SVT in Sweden. 

The documentary features the first-hand accounts from some of the people who actually lived through the devastating natural disasters. Footage is supplied from some of the worst moments. The program follows the lives of survivors just after the events. The team spent one week in the aftermath of the destruction in an effort to chart these people’s narratives and mankind’s survival instincts. 

SOS Japan is distributed by Sparks Network worldwide, with 20 percent of the license fee going to charity for the victims of the tsunami.
