Studio100 Media’s Junior TV Finds Home in Switzerland

MUNICH: Studio100 Media has secured carriage for its pay-TV kids’ channel Junior TV on all digital platforms of upc cablecom in Switzerland.

The deal’s terms include granting the cable network operator the rights to distribute the Junior channel on the company’s cable systems and via broadband. Studio100 Media will provide upc cablecom with family and children’s programming, with titles such as Maya the Bee, Heidi and Tabaluga, as well successful hit preschool series such as Zigby, Bumba, Plop, Bibi Blocksberg and the teen telenovela Amika.

Pascal Amrein, the director of content at upc cablecom, commented: “It is great to welcome the Junior channel in Switzerland and we are proud to add such a high-quality channel with great programming to our digital lineup.”
