Stephen McPherson Exits ABC

LOS ANGELES: ABC’s president of entertainment, Stephen McPherson, has resigned from the company after a six-year tenure.

The Disney/ABC Television Group issued a brief statement regarding McPherson’s exit: "Steve McPherson today submitted his resignation as President, ABC Entertainment Group, and the Company accepted." 

McPherson commented, "I want to thank the wonderful team of individuals who have worked with me throughout my time here and wish them nothing but the best." 

The network says a replacement for McPherson will be announced shortly.
