SPT to Distribute House of Cards

BEVERLY HILLS: Media Rights Capital (MRC) is teaming up with Sony Pictures Television (SPT) for the distribution of the upcoming political drama series House of Cards, which will make its exclusive debut on Netflix.

SPT will handle the distribution for House of Cards around the world. It will distribute the series in the U.S., Canada, Latin America and Spain after Netflix completes the show’s run in those territories.

House of Cards is from director and executive producer David Fincher (The Social Network). It stars Kevin Spacey (Margin Call, American Beauty) and Robin Wright (Forrest Gump). Beau Willimon (The Ides of March) serves as showrunner.
